Rahm wins Mexico Open

US Open Champion Jon Rahm also won the Mexico Open. The Spaniard prevailed in a narrow tournament on the end of the end with a lead ahead of Brandon Wu and Tony Finau. At the end, Rahm played a 69 round on the Par-71 course and would almost have been intercepted because both WU and Finau put on strong 63 rounds.

Rahm came to a total of 267 strokes after four days. For the 27-year-old, it was the first victory on the PGA tour since his triumph at the US Open last summer.

The Munich Stephan Jäger played consistently well and came up with the shared 15th place with 274 strokes.
